I don't think the build up is that important.
They just need to not make garbage.

Batman is a paranoid control freak who doesn't trust an alien on earth who happens to have enough power to destroy it in a single punch.

Movie is supposed to pick up following the aftermath of the last superman film where metropolis got wiped out during supermans fight with zod

They won't fight long I doubt, they'll eventually have to team up and fight a common enemy

This movie has epic fail written all over it

Im such a fan of everything super hero related, but I gotta say, this movie is going to suck. Zack Snyder is not capable of making a good superman movie. Anyone who says Superman should watch his own father die so he doesn't risk exposing his identity doesn't fucking know the character.

you well hate this movie then alot of bullshit happens with stupid dream sequences but affleck does a good job with his batman parts also if you have watched all the trailers you have seen almost everythink in this movie

And you do? That is EXACTLY the kind of thing young superman would have done, because of how much he respected and trusted Jonathan.

Introducing a new actor playing an iconic superhero should have at least had 1 movie before doing this.

They could have had some sort of rift building up at the end of the movie and into the credits.

The one thing Civil War has going for it is the known rift between Iron Man and Cap during the Avenger movies.

If they just made a Captain America vs Iron Man movie before the Avengers or their solo movies, it probably wouldn't look as good as it does.

They didn't need an origin movie for Batman, it's been done A LOT. Unlike a lot comic book characters most of the general public are extremely familiar with Batman's origin.

Movie was good, screw the critics. This is coming from a marvel fanboy. Better than all the avengers movies easily. Lex sucks tho.
