Where the fuck do your assumptions come from? I'm not going to the theater to see either of these movies. I never said I thought either of them would be good. I'm simply pointing out why Deadpool will do MUCH better on a purely financial basis. Seriously man, the shit that comes out of you is just ridiculous sometimes.

I voted for zoolander. I think it has more mass appeal. Marvel won't be bringing in as many kids and families to see a rated R movie. Deadpool is pretty niche while zoolander is more date friendly.

That being said I will be seeing deadpool opening weekend and I hope more people spend their money on it because I really want more rated R movies geared towards me. If this movie is successful there's a greater chance that execs will fund more like it.

I probably won't see dead pool in theatres but I'm def gonna watch it. But I probably won't even waste my time to watch zoolander2. It looks absolutely horrible. And I think the first is overrated

you make it seem like deadpools "lowbrow comedy " is new? have you ever read a deadpool comic? that's literally his character comedy and guns....

this movie has been awaited by comic book fans for years so i'll definitely join the "sheep" in seeing this as I've waited since I was a kid for a Deadpool movie... bet when anyone mentions Spawn or Punisher you also think of them as sheep? or are those films now finally old enough that they're cool with all you hipsters?

I stated very clearly that it won't matter if the movie is horrible and that it'd still make money because of it's advertising, type of humor and action elements. Idiots, yourself included, will go and see it in theaters regardless of how bad it is, I won't, hence the fucking sheep comment (you). If it turns out to be truly amazing and I hear nothing but good things, I'll probably go see it with the wife.

I'm not bashing on the film or the people going to see it because it's popular, I'm pointing out that retards will continue to pile into the theater if the movie is utter fucking garbage, just like idiots do for anything Michael Bay puts out, and that's why it will make more money.

Lets see if I can spell this out anymore for you people....

If Deadpool is terrible it won't matter, it will still do well financially because of idiots piling into the theater regardless of how bad it is. It will do slightly better if it's actually good, but it won't have a huge impact on it financially.

Edit - I hope it's good, I want this movie to be good. This thread was a pure hypothetical as to which one will do better financially, the reasons are obvious as to why Deadpool will win that battle. That's all. People need to stop reading so much into shit.

im not that excited for deadpool but im sure itll be good. one if tarantino did deadpool tho thatd be awesome. also im a bit bummed out the movie is only 108minutes long im prob not gonna se in in theaters
