Guy is a shitty actor. Really disappointed in the casting choice here. We'll see if he can pull it off, but even if he does, there's still TONS of other actors who could do it better than him.

Can you name something other then walking dead he played a good role in? no ones painting him in anything, I'll still go in with an open mind but I already know that Thomas Jane takes the cake for this specific character
Just like Downy Jr is perfect for Iron man if they decided after the first few iron man movies to change the actor for the avengers movies would you not be skeptical......

Well I think his performance in walking dead is what got him this role, none of the other minor/shitty gigs along the way. I think even a lot of the same expressions and moments he wil bring to his role here which fits the punisher persona well. I agree with you about Downy and we have hindsight to base that view off. In hindsight we will see how this goes as well. I didn't mean to insult as I said armchair critic and I shouldn't have said that. We all have right to opinion for sure but it's nice when you say why u think something. I attest his performances in other shows/movies have been meh but from a WD pov he's done aight

I hated him in WD. And i don't just mean from a character perspective. I think he was complete garbage in the role, every line he says is totally unbelievable. Get a robot to read a line and you have the same basic outcome as that actor.
