DBZA has had it's low/high points in every single season. All of the season have started out slow and gotten exponentially better, just as the current one is doing now. Raditz was meh, King Kai training was meh, Nappa shows up and the show takes a sharp turn up. Second season was the same way, started out slow, Ginyu Force and Super Kami Guru come into the picture and it's fucking hilarious again. First Cell was boring, second Cell is alright, I'm positive Perfect Cell will be hilarious.

But yes, me using commonsense and realizing that every single one of these seasons has had to build up to it's potential makes me an intolerable fanboy.

I didn't even watch DBZ Abridged and never was a fan of DBZ in general.

Just commenting on the fact that you called him a 'cynic that hates everything popular' for having a differing taste, is all.

The show was unknown and poorly done to begin with. If you watched it, you'd know that. It's improved drastically since. The audio quality was horrible, the dubbing was mediocre and the jokes were only funny to people who knew WAY too much about DBZ at the start. It's improved in almost every aspect since the start and the latest episode has only reaffirmed that opinion, it was phenomenal.

My assumption that he's too cool for school could be incorrect but it would fit with what I've seen in the past. Unknown mediocre show gets better and popularity grows drastically, the show is no longer good because I said so...

Differing taste is a possibility but being a hipster douche is much more plausible.

I've got to admit Littlekuirbohs voice acting is really good he got Frieza down to a tee.

Marik on yugioh abridged is brilliant though but that started rather poorly just like Dbz abridged as well
