this season's really shaping up, and clara is finally starting to grow on me a little bit.
i loved the new doctor the instant he stepped out of the tardis calling a T Rex his lady friend, but i didnt much care for clara last season. she's no rose tyler

Clara is definitely in my top picks for companion personally. Not sure how anyone could dislike her.

she was great in the final season with smith. but last season she was really boring. she's by far the most domestic of all the doctor's companions, and that kinda bothers me. last season i felt like she was holding the show back, with a story that was based around her and her relationship. my favourite episode last season was definately time heist and i don't think it's any coincidence that it had nothing to do with clara and her boyfriend. the season might have been necessary to set up the type of character clara would grow into this season, but at the time i found it rather dull. I don't really have any interest in rewatching kill the moon, forest of the night, listen, or caretaker again. and i'm rather on the fence with flatline, robin hood, mummy on the orient and even the finalle.

The last season was pretty bad, but I really like her character. I would blame last season more on danny than clara. What a fucking waste of a character. Spend an entire shit season building danny up to maybe be a rory/amy double companion thing then kill him off. Every episode with danny was boring as fuck. Also way too much time spent on earth, another fault of danny.

The asylum, the snowman and the wifi episodes are some of my fav in the series, they really shine because of clara imo.

With all that said I do think that all the companions are great and likable. With the exception of Donna. Fuck that bitch so much. I hate every episode she is in, I literally almost stopped watching the show because of her.

I hated her so much. There is literally only one episode with her in it that I ever rewatch.
