So i just finished season 1, on season 2..... They're using all the same actors but as different characters, i don't get why they did that?

season 1 and 2 best ones imo. fuck season 3 and 4. shit's ok but no where near as good as season 1 and 2

Nothing special in season 2 except Christianity, Nazi's , The Devil, Zombies, Mass Murders, Lesbians, Aliens, Insaneness, Death, guilt, Sin, Exorcism and other controversial theories mixed in with top actors and a great story. Other than that, it was quite similar to everything else on tv.

While it may have all those themes in it, it still wasn't as thrilling as season 3 to me as it was much more focused. I am entitled to have an opinion without your sass.

And like I said, I would like to rewatch season 2 for a memory refresher since it has been a while.

He didn't "rekt" anything...

Although season 2 had all hide themes, it wasn't centralized or focused on any of them. Which I assume was done on purpose to create more of a chaotic sense to fit the insane asylum theme.

Where as season 3 had more of a defined, linear plot. And now that I think about it, season 3 has nearly all of those themes.....really aside from nazis, zombies and aliens. Season 3 had witches and magic.....so that leaves season 2 with only one more theme as mentioned.

The actors are nearly all the same, I don't know why that would even be brought up...

I feel like sultan misread my post as I wasn't comparing it to other shows on tv at all...

Relax dude, i liked season 2 the best, while you like season 3 better, but you're never gonna convince me otherwise.

Season 3 was good, they brought in some good talent.

"Lady Gaga is in the midst of filming her role on American Horror Story: Hotel, airing this fall on FX. As previously reported, she'll be playing Elizabeth, a "very wealthy social doyenne who is consumed with art and fashion and people," but because she's Lady Gaga, she seems to be incorporating elements of Elizabeth's personality into her off-camera life as well. She recently hosted a house party for her Hotel cast mates that included a swimming pool filled with water she'd had dyed red to look like blood. How very Dandy Mott of her. "

Still don't know if she can act though, either way it'll probably be better than that poc that air last night about some zombies....

Season 2 was awesome. I liked Season 3 as well, but I was rather disappointed with how they used Stevie Nicks as the White Witch. It pretty much reminded me of the Burt Bacharach scenes in Austin Powers (i.e. "Let's pause for a moment for a song by Stevie Nicks", instead of making her a real character in the coven).

I liked stevie but I didn't like how it became more soap-opera-y/creepy (don't know the word) and less suspenseful/Horror-y.

There's really no good suspense on tv - I wanna crap bricks watching an episode - and that won't happen with just creepy characters. The show needs more Alfred Hitchcock and less John Waters - if that makes sense.

I hear you, as far as Hitchcock goes. I love Stevie Nicks...she's my favorite female singer. It just seemed like they had her on as a musical guest, a la SNL, instead of as an actual character, which given the subject matter of that season, her persona as the White Witch would have fit perfectly.
