Edit: I realize now you are probably referring to my hate on the x-men films. And how they are an atrocity to the source material like you would never believe.

Sorry for being a fan, and expecting 'the creators of a billion dollar franchise to READ THE FUCKING SOURCE MATERIAL.


Thats why you call it an adaptation, it's not supposed to be 100% true to the source material;

There are adaptations and there is skimming over the X-Men wiki page, just to make sure they got everyone's name right.......

Let's be honest with ourselves here. It's not called "Wolverine's X-Men".

Well, it's their choice to do anything they want aith a source material, if they want wolverine to be the main protagonist, it's up to them, it's an adaptation.

I understand that. I am voicing my opinion of how they handled it.

I just disagree with how they handled the franchise. Hopefully 5-15 years from now, when they can do a hard reboot of the franchise, and hopefully revert control back to Marvel studios, we will get the "adaptation" we deserve.

Well there IS source material of wolverine leading the x-men in 2 different instances/storylines.

So for an adaptation, it's not too far fetched to put the focus on him.


Wolverine died recently tho, so who knows. Maybe we'll see that happen.

Yeah, but I was mainly referring to how they handled Scott Summers (Cyclops) who was the actual "leader" of the TEAM the X-Men. Even he never takes center focus, and it's always about the team as a whole. Wolverine also goes on to become the professor of the school, but I guarantee we won't ever see that story aspect haha.

Either way, they made the fans hate Cyclops, then they killed him, now the basically brought him back for a restart. So, who knows.

There are SOOOO many great X-Men stories that the movies will never touch unfortunately, until we have a combined Marvel cinematic universe. I bet most people don't know that Wolverine is also an Avenger, as is Spider-Man, so at least we have one of those things moving in the right direction...
