Went in to this without even checking the rating, just saw the name enough times to check it out
(I don't really like hearing / seeing / knowing ... anything about a movie before I see it) [but rarely will I dive in to something unheard of]

I thought this movie was a masterpiece..
I still am not sure what exactly happen

does he keep stealing the baby because he wants it?
or does he keep stealing the baby because that needs to happen?
well he says he never deviates from the same exact mission... but doesn't he get screwed over and ditched in a part of time?
ugh, i still don't get it- great movie, may watch twice at some point

good movie

but thinking about it afterwards, having sex with yourself to make yourself is a pretty childish and unbelievable concept
pretty sure genetics doesn't/can't work like this



well he obviously wants to help himself, but if he doesn't steal it then he might not exist or something..

He is the baby, the mother and the father.
He 'steals' himself to protect the Continuous loop, the forever existence of a person with no past or future, or ties to anything.

If he doesn't do it, events will alter, and he will eventually die of old age - ending the loop, ending the chance of such an agent to operate travelling through time, saving lives and altering caterstrophic events!

e/ what has me still screwed up is... so she was originally... both a man, and a woman..

it's not like she just went back in time and got jiggy wit it, wit em self...
so... she just over time turned in to a man, because when she had a child, it fkd up the female part of her?

We assume the child is always born with both sexual organs (perhaps a messed up defect for obvious reasons) when she gives birth to herself, her female organs are damaged beyond repair which prompts the surgeons to develop the already existing (though underdeveloped) penis - then she/he begins the hormonal treatment and eventually becomes male with the ability to reproduce. That's why the traveller (himself) takes John (himself) to meet Jane (himself) on that specific day, everytime.

i tend to like to read a brief description about the film trailers tend to ruin major parts or scenes of the movie as for rating #'s that means nothing really i've seen movies with a 1-5 stars on imdb that I thought were absolutely brilliant but i understand what your saying with going into a movie with nothing but the title it is a good feeling rarely get that opportunity and when i do most of the time its a completely and utter travesty so you got a rare treat
