I like Paul Rudd but I'm not sure about the decision to cast him as Ant-Man, we'll see how it turns out. I'll probably wait for an online copy or for it to hit the dollar theater though.

I dont like the idea of stand alone movies with superheros.

Like how come Ant-Man has to solve this problem when there is like 100 other superheros? Like why arent they all there helping. Why aren't the avengers there?

Why do they even need to be there? Did you think thor is just going to jump realms at a whim? he has his own world to worry about.
Iron man? he's pretty much in retirement. Black widow and hawkeye are regular agents, they go where the remnants of s.h.i.e.l.d. which is running on a skeleton crew tells them to go. Hulk? pretty much self explanatory with how much destruction he wrecks even when he's in control. So who would come to the rescue in ant man besides ant man? Cap is pretty much a man without a purpose.

Well here's the thing.

The absolute lamest fucking heroes in Marvel (that aren't completely unknown) are Hawkeye, Ant-Man and Daredevil.

Ant-Man is literally the single hero I hate the most (with Hawkeye as a close second). And now not only will it NOT be Hank Pym in the suit, but they're making an actual movie JUST for him. At least they had the fucking decency to not make a hawkeye movie (and to basically butcher his backstory in Avengers).

But an Ant-Man movie? Fuck no. You can call me hipster all you like, I've loved every single Marvel release so far...but this is fucking Ant-Man.
