A more adequate analogy would be why do people live on coastal cities after their homes are demolished year after year by hurricanes or why do people live in tornado alley after their homes are demolished every other month and why do people live below sea level when their homes get washed away by floods every year. Do the lot of you actually think entire cities can be uprooted like that? did you forget that these kaiju's are programmed to go after the large cities, do you think that suddenly being in land would prevent these kaijus from not going inland? you do realize that each generation of kaiju is altered to better suit it's objective, right? if you're going to complain about something, find a better target.
