Twice, on face of merely bad odds, the first time, it was even against people far weaker than him (the genyu force) he was cowering in a corner or running away scared of getting beaten.

Edit: it depends on which superman. The old pre crisis superman of before 1986 would smash goku in most situations

The current superman is very, very far from limitless powers with the sun, and he's a lot weaker than goku, he gets hurt by attacks that couldn't scratch a planet.

Vegeta vs Superman will be a diffirent story. He would use all of Supermans weaknesses to his advantage.

Anyone who says Goku clearly knows very little about superman.

I'm a huge DBZ fan and I've watched every episode from TFS at least 5 times. You still need to be logical and understand that Goku has limitations, Superman does not lol.

That video by ScrewAttack was fairly well done and I watched it last year when it first came out, those guys know their shit and they go by pure numbers.



What weaknesses? It would be very unlikely that Vegeta would catch on that Superman's power was coming from the Earth's sun. If he did realize this, of course he could just blow up the sun, I just don't see that happening.

Superman has had limitations for the last near 30 years, this is not the planets bowling superman anymore. He's gotten hurt by weapons and energy beams, goku used to destroy planets to bits back when he was literally a few million times weaker than now. Superman is weak against magic. Is ki considered magic? That would be am interesting discussion to start with.

Superman runs a few times faster than speed of sound and needs a ship for interstellar travel, goku teleports planet to planet.
