Like I'm gonna pay for a michael bay movie lol

EXPLOSIONS
CGI!

I'll just watch it online on a boring sunday night and probably won't even hate it.

I mean... I'm glad you won't pay to see someone shit on a silver screen for 2 hours. But, do you really not have anything better to do on a Sunday night than watch a movie you wouldn't even pay to see?

Seems like a contradiction.

Sunday night is a "sit home and do nothing" night for me. Big weeks, big weekends. Need time to relax and watch stuff. Summer sucks dicks, every fucking show is between seasons.

I guess that's where we are fundamentally different. I will always have something to do. Reading etc. Hell, I'd rather watch an old favorite that I know is good, as opposed to something that looks awful.

Im the kind of guy who sees a picture of a scene from an episode of a TV and I remember the whole episode.

I have a very hard time rewatching stuff unless its comedies.

Lol... So, you think he is posting trailers to be the forum "good guy" on letting us know when every single new movie trailer comes out? Sorry, I have youtube. I don't need to see his daily spam here too.

EDIT - Sorry, I don't particularly enjoy constantly being reminded that Michael Bay is killing my childhood, one shitty movie at a time... And even worse, that I live in a world where people actually think what he does is genius. Makes me fucking depressed.

All you have been doing lately is causing trouble in this forum.....your posts are no more meaningful than posting a trailer.

Michael bay isn't ruining your childhood in any way....the original cartoons still exist whether movies are made later or not. No one is forcing you to watch his movies. If you think a movie looks awful, that's great, don't watch it and move on.

He does well with action, however acting and scripts lack in his movies....aside from Pearl Harbor. There are movies for entertainment, and there are movies that can actually be taken seriously as cinema goes. I don't think I need to explain that any further.

If you expect cartoons to turn into a wonderfully well made movies, I suggest you step out of your fairytale world. Also, these movies are meant to captivate a large target audience which tends to "dumb down" the final film.

My standpoint..... I will watch tmnt ( along with the new transformers) by getting it on netflix. I don't expect it to be amazing, I don't expect it to have a good script or good acting. I expect to sit, and enjoy a simple action movie with no regard to fine details that would make a "good movie."

Quit your crying.

Sorry, but I truly believe that we have it within ourselves to ask for something better. Not the force-fed Hollywood bullshit that gets worse every year. I want to see a god damn REAL X-Men movie. With a short hairy ass actor in a goddamn yellow and black suit. I want to see Cyclopes, the goddamn leader of the X-Men to not be a whiny ass bitch who gets killed off in one of the movies. I want Fox to give the rights back to Marvel so we can see the X-Men in the same goddamn universe that the Avengers are in. AS it should be. Is that too much to ask? Wanna know why Spider-Man isn't in the Avengers movies, even though, he is often a member of the Avengers? Because fucking Sony won't give up their cash cow and keep putting out bullshit like The Amazing Spider-Man. And what's even more fucked up, is people go to support that crap.

So, yes. My childhood is being ruined. Because at this rate, I won't live long enough to see a REAL comic book adaptation of my favorite characters in a proper live-action movie. You see, none of these fucking producers that everyone is keeping in business, really give a shit about doing something justice, or sticking to the source material. And believe, there is a SHIT TON of FUCKING FANTASTIC source material to use. Pick up any goddamn comic on the shelves right now, and you can plainly see that. This world deserves better movies based on our favorite childhood characters. And the only way that is gonna happen is if people wake the fuck up and stop shelling out their hard earned money to see some bullshit that some suits in Hollywood tell you is gonna be good. They don't care about you, and they don't care about the characters. They just want your money.

This is actually material i can work with, thank you.

I, and I know you can't agree, am happy with the latest marvel movies as I believe they have done a tremendous job. X-Men first class, and DOFP were great but I understand there are a lot of inconsistencies within the movies as directors/producers have publicly admitted to them. The collaboration of the Avengers has worked out well and is a fantastic concept in the movie business.

Your childhood is still not ruined...I can't convey that concept any easier. Your childhood remains the same no matter what happens in the future.

You're right, the do want "our money." You know why? Because that is their job.....People/businesses tend to do what's best for their company especially when it's related to money. This is the same for entertainment, sports, your local businesses, retail.......ANYTHING. It's always about money, and it will always be that way.

I wouldn't cut out a fox/marvel movie out of the equation...it may happen and I'm sure there is behind the scene talk that the public isn't at all aware of.

I hope for your sake, this picture-perfect comic book adaptation movie does happen, however the general public enjoys these movies already. Movies aren't targeted to die-hard comic book fans.

Finally, I know you have frustrations towards movies that aren't pictured perfectly to the "original" but Hollywood isn't obligated to do so.

Dude, it's not even like they're trying to come just a little close though. They made 5 "Wolverine and his X-Men" movies. Sorry, Wolverine is not the leader of the X-Men. He is an equal member of the team with others. In NO universe should Cyclopes have ever been killed, let alone been written as such an awful character. How can they even justify that bullshit? They even fucking had the balls to make fun of his iconic costume in one of the movies. "What did you expect, yellow spandex?" herherherher... Yes, fuck yes I did. Rock that shit, Wolverine would be no less of a bad ass in his actual uniform, hence why THEY HAVE KEPT HIM IN IT IN THE COMICS, FOR DECADES! Fox owns X-Men and The Fantastic 4. Of which, I might add F4 is getting another reboot and casting Johnny Blaze with a BLACK ACTOR. WHAT. THE. FUCK. He is the brother of Sue Storm. A WHITE WOMEN. Has it gotten so difficult, that studios can't even get the color of someones skin right in their "summer blockbusters"? What, they want to try to appeal to the black audience to get more asses in the seats if they cast a black guy in the lead? Well guess what, black people actually are MORE offended that you would even think that shit would work. They don't give a fuck about the color of the dudes skin. But, they went and assumed they would. It's shit like that makes me wish Fox execs would all burn in a grease fire. It takes a special kind of asshole to try to pass shit like that off to their consumers.

Sorry, a Fox/Marvel crossover is never gonna happen. Wanna know why? Two reasons. One, Fox is the greediest of assholes, and will never allow for a 50/50 split of revenue. Nor will Marvel, because that's absurd and the only way they would justify it being "fair". Secondly, there is NO GODDAMN way Marvel is going to let Fox have SHIT to do with the making of that movie. Fox looks like the little brother that's trying WAAAY too hard to them. There is no fucking way Marvel is gonna give them a chance to fuck up their legacy. And rightfully so. Fox hasn't done any superhero movies worth bragging about. Sorry, let me know when they catch up to Marvel. But, not likely ever gonna happen with their track record.

I'm sure wolverine is the most famous and recognizable x-men character to the general public. That might be why there has been so much focus around him.

You can't claim this because you do not know insider information. It's not at all logical to state this. You have no idea what's going on.
