Xavier's return
wolverine's adamantium claws are returning
Trask goes from being a very big black guy to a dwarf
Stryker age is fucked up if you look at the timeline
the xavier/mystic/magneto triangular relationship has no correlation with the original X men movies.
If we follow their logic, Moira should be a lot older, timeline, who cares about it?
They didn't care to tell us how magneto got back his power
Kitty Pride has a new power, youpee!
In the end of x3, xavier is dead, magneto is dead, then goes 1 movie ( wolverine ) xavier is back, magneto is back, has his powers back too and they even start companionship to fight together, that without a single explanation.

Xavier's return
This was foreshadowed in the after credit scene for x-men last stand, was foreshadowed in x-men first class and in the first x-men movie.
If you remember when wolverine woke up in the school, the slide xavier was showing the students about a brain dead individual and spoke of the implications of a powerful mutant implanting their consciousness in the braid dead body. They introduced the character Dr. Moira in x-men first class.
They introduced her again in the after credit scene of last stand.

wolverine's adamantium claws are returning
magneto can manipulate any metal, even adamantium, let that sink in. - this was foreshadowed in x-men 2.

They didn't care to tell us how magneto got back his power
this was covered in the after credit scene of last stand, magneto moved the metal chess piece.

Kitty Pride has a new power, youpee!
because mutants haven't evolved at all in the series.... go figure.

Not going to address the rest at the moment but this will cover the main points.

foreshadowed = not explained
I believe magneto can do that, but they didn't address a single word about it, and that's what I blame.
After credit of last stand doesn't explain how he got his power back tho
Alright, this is an adaptation and so far who's got new power in the franchise except her? ( Maybe when Xavier froze the time in x2 ..)

There are holes, and I don't like that. The movie is still very enjoyable.

See the edit. The after credit scene in the last stand shows that the "cure" wasn't permanent. Just like being in proximity to the child wore off when you stepped away.
what I listed aren't plot holes at all.

I remember that very well, but xavier has the same body as before?

For such an elite x men group, they sure went down pretty quick against the sentinels.
Wondering if wolverine could have killed them since adamantium can cut through anything before they have a chance to adapt.

Also do you think The Pheonix could have single handedly destroy the sentinels? I mean she can literally dematerialize anything.

Sorry, it wasn't the first movie it was the third movie.

He is inhabiting his twin's body.

Quote
In the beginning of X-Men: The Last Stand, Xavier was teaching a class about mutant ethics and used a case study of Moira's with the very same patient on whether or not it was ethical to put the mind of a dead psychic into the body of a comatose patient, who according to movie-makers was Xavier's twin brother, whose psyche was erased due to growing Professor X's powers during the prenatal state. In the comic books, Xavier had a twin sister, yet during screenplay writing the idea of a sister was changed to a brother, for obvious reasons.

Phoenix or Legion would have completely shit stomped all the sentinels.

The movie was good, I really enjoyed it and I thought they did an excellent job for only 2hrs and 11 minutes.

@Lensher The only thing out of everything you listed that could have possibly needed an explanation was Kat's power to project people's consciousness into the past. It was a completely made up power but they needed to make the story work and it did work.

Fast kid is Quick Silver btw, he's Magneto's son. Seems like you miss every single little bit for the fans that isn't 100% spelled out for you. Bitching about someone's new powers and then not knowing who someone like QS is? That doesn't make a lot of sense.

I haven't seen days of future past yet but I do want to point out that it stated that first class, and assuming future past were not directly related to the original three.

Also, most of your statements can be explained as most people have been replying.
