Alot of shows die out.
Ppl lose interest. This is due to age, work, relationships, etc.

Like many said, Supernatural started 10 years ago... none of us are the same anymore ;)
If they kept it concentrated to monster killing, with like 2-3 episodes each season, as part 1-2, etc. maybe it would've been nice. Like those cops shows that never die off, after decades.
But instead, they had a few nice seasons with killer plots, that should've ended the show. Then the fans cried out, wanted more monster slaying and less story, so here we are.

Some shows, are based of books. Wich will eventually end.
Others are not.

I for one hate the new vampire spin offs. It's pathetic Imo. Just keeping fans watching.
I was arguing with my sis today about it all.
Out of no where, writters come out with new ideas about new powers that each breed gets, that no one ever thinks of and thought impossible. It's total bullshit.
(specially this one; oh hey I'm a vampire, but I got this ring from a witch, so I can walk in daylight, like a Boss!)
Although I know these shows are mostly meant for a younger generation and not 25+, still bothers me, lol

You should figure out what genres excite you, and search for those shows.
We can help :)

Show would have gone down as having the best finale in the history of television if it ended where it was supposed to after the lucifer season with Sam in the pit. But money so they added Sam into the last shot of the true finale of the series and kept going.

As a fan of the show, I'm rather happy that they pursued their adventures, but it's true that it isn't as good as it used to be.

I watched up till season I cant remember on supernatural all last year since I never watched it till then. Probably season 4 maybe 5 I think the last episode I saw they were in heaven at the bar? Just seemed like I was watching the same thing over and over just different monsters or whatever. Also didn't like how they portrayed angels and how god was nowhere to be found. Soa is a drama fest from what I saw. Walking dead was ok for the first season then I felt it dragged on. I've actually never tried game of thrones or vikings but I dont like watching about death etc either.

Smallville was my favorite TV show/series of all time. It's all a matter of taste really. Game of Thrones: Some people love it and others not so much.

That's cuz they are. Supernatural was supposed to be like 4-5 seasons of whatever, not like 10. And the Walking Dead was supposed to be a single season. But walking dead is looking promising for next season.

walking dead was not supposed to be one season...the books are years ahead of the show...

referring to the walking dead comment, do you mean commissioned for one season? because that's pretty standard for any TV show release these days, its all about ratings etc...
- as far as story-base, the comics have been around for years and are far far ahead of the TV show!
