Pretty much guarantees that even if it does good, they'll probably cancel it.

Am I the only person who is sick of all these superhero movies? I would be stoked on them but they are just pushing so much material so quickly and the movies are literally the same thing. Nobody is taking any chances with them or doing anything unique or intuitive. Literally every Marvel movie is the same groundwork. Went to see Captain American a few weeks ago and despite it being pretty good, it was just hard to enjoy because I felt like I had already watched it 10 times.

trailer didn't look suuperheroy to me

I love when the cinematic fits perfectly to the trailer. I will definitely watch it but I am over Batman. There have been way too many Batman movies. The franchise is stupid. Same goes with Superman. Marvel will forever be greater than DC. Because Marvel did it the right way launching the franchises. Imagine a new Thor lead every movie or Iron Man?

Also. Why is it on FOX? It should be on CW. What CW is doing with Arrow and now The Flash intertwining them and expanding the story introducing characters is how it should be done. There is even rumours that Stephen Amell possibly may play Green Arrow in the Justice League movie. If the Flash does well Grant Gustin will most likely be the flash for the movie too.

they did not mention joker because the show will probably be about the creation of batman and joker.
isn't joker the one who murders bruce's parents or is that something invented by tim burton?

Not even close
There's a bunch of origins for joker but one im most familiar with is the one where he dons the red hood and then batman makes him fall into a tub of acid
before that he had no interaction with bruce

edit: originally it was suppose to be another guy that kills his parents but tim burton did change it to where joker was the one

I like gotham and the batman universe as a setting for storytelling, we'll see.

THIS. any background story on the Joker would ruin the character IMO.
