But I did enjoy them trying to show the "man" side of superman in the movie. The doubt and fear etc.


Ahh... the "Human" qualities within an "Alien" [ethics / beliefs etc]

There are only two(2) people that know Supermans weakness, Batman and of course his arch enemy, and they could
not portray that in Man of Steel because he was not known as Superman.

Mind you... Smallville was decent in the fact that Luthor was his best friend that became his mortal enemy... and ... no-one can make
a superman movie like it use to be.

End Note: Supermans values [human] are very strong, it is not the power / strengths etc, it is his ethics / beliefs and value that make
him a great character... he has NEVER killed anyone.

Superman is willing to kill if absolutely necessary(ex. superman new 52 issue 3), which zod made it by saying he would never stop and Clark knew there was no way to control him, so neck snap.

I guess parts were a lil 2 cheesy for me...granted I've watched it a few times now whenever I come across it on the movie channel but just some parts of the movie (specifically the old school "you are not alone" broadcast.

Its a fun movie but I'd still prefer the other marvel superhero movies better.....that's all.
