The episodes are hit & miss for me. It's definitely a great show worth looking into however to claim it is the greatest show ever is a stretch. There are episodes that make it seem like the greatest show ever but then it slows back down again, it's really a roller-coaster show. If you haven't seen it I recommend it but if you go in with expectations too high you'll more than likely be let down because it doesn't really pick up until midway through season 1.

Didn't start watching until late 2013... watched all 3 seasons on BD release. It is a great show, very good indeed but jesus christ people it is not the best thing since sliced bread.

9/10 though

tbh I find the show more enjoyable than the books

there was too much useless stuff in the books.. all are like 1000 page books when really they could get all the important stuff into it in like 600 pages..
