I liked the calendar year representation. Hopefully next episodes teach us things we don't already generally know.

First episode was neat, got a few things wrong/not explained properly, but overall done very well.

Eh I think it's just them trying to reach out to a wider audience therefor keeping things as broad and simple as possible.

Not going to re-watch it and take notes for you, but I remember noticing their explanation of the big bang was off. The big bang wasn't an explosion as we know it, starting from a focal(center) and expanding out from there.

Doesnt that depend on which version of the big bang they were talking about? It was believed to be an explosion at first but now the more widely accepted theory is that there was only a very small expansion in the start and then there was a second "bang". You also have to keep in mind they are probably going to try to simplify things a lot since it is on basic cable and anyone can watch it.

Theory never really described it as a typical explosion, that is an over simplification of it. It is more like a bang followed by everything appearing, not from a focal but just appearing, if there was a beginning point then there would be an edge.

The universe has no center, ie point of explosion "bang", nor does it have an edge. As far as we know anyways.
