Ender's internal struggle would've been impossible to incorporate on the screen unless they did a voice over narration like the did with warm bodies, but given the scope of his internal struggle it would've just been a 2 hour long emo monologue that would've never gone over well with audiences and even the author admitted that his film was not adaptable to the big screen because of that internal struggle and that the production team did the best they could without including one of the key parts of the book. It was a solid film despite your review.
And no blah, young adults would not have made that movie better because with young adults summit films would've pushed romance into the narrative and completely turned it upside down.

and I suppose you wanted them to have a 6 year old play ender like in the book? how are you supposed to show those things in a movie? and how are you supposed to fit ALL of that into 2 hours? unless you want to be watching like a 6 hour movie there is no possible way they could have went into the story as in depth as they did in the book. obviously the book was better, but they did a good job on the movie too
You don't. They production team went over this in interviews, ender was a taller/older boy because of the stunts and wire work for the zero gravity situations.
Where as the rest of his gripes are normal for adaptions, some things don't translate well and other things are cut for time constriction or fit the director's vision.
