Could tell it was going to be bad just from the lead actor.

He has done 1 good film, The Matrix. The rest were horrible.

Scanner was a damn good movie




No.

He didnt play it poorly the movie was just bad and i feel they took everything about the original story literally and just made it a fantasy movie.
There was far too little fighting for a samurai movie, what fighting scenes they did have where short and pretty dull. The most exciting part was probably the opening scene with the big beast running through the forest.
Hell the previews are the best parts/most action of the movie.


I'm no critic though. I dont go into a sci-fi movie or a comedy expecting oscar performances, I go to be entertained and this was just disappointing.

If you couldn't tell it was going to be a bad movie by the previews then you deserved to have your Christmas ruined.

Well most "bad" sci fi movies are ok for what they are, Transformers was at least pretty cgi and explosions.

Thing is, he wasnt meant to be the lead actor. Esp not in the original cuts :/
