FMA = The original series didn't know what it was doing and it failed miserably, it was a decent all around watch. It just didn't fucking go anywhere
Watch FMA brotherhood, that show was fantastic and it's a lot shorter than the original FMA (tv series).

im pretty sure fma brotherhood is several episodes longer than the original.

I remembered the original being longer. I'll have to look into it, you're probably right though.
