I love this show too. it's like war of the worlds as a tv show but better...

I'm still not clear as to what the grid does. is it like an electrical web in the sky that destroys anything that touches it and has the side effect of eventually warping the brain of humans below?

It's an electromagnetic grid that destroys anything that tries to get through it. The side effect of the energy from the grid will render the planet inhabitable (radiation)

By the way they keep mentioning things, It seems like Anne and the baby aren't really dead. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Karen is so damn hot, i'de fuck the shit of that alien... show her how hung humans are.

I was referring to how the alien allies hit him and karen said they aren't what they seem (had suspicions) and I know the baby and his wife are alive because killing them would've served no purpose and they wouldn't have gone to the trouble of making her a hybrid if it wasn't in their best interests.

So the season finale left us with many questions, and now they're on the road again. Can't believe the professor actually did that.

I'm watching S3 now and I have a question maybe someone can help me with.

When President Hathaway asked Cochise why they were fighting the war, Cochise's explanation was about the flower he wanted his children's children to see etc. etc. This answer seemed satisfactory to the people in the scene, but I didn't get it at all. What does chasing the Espheni around the universe (as the Volm claim they are doing) have to do with protecting their children? Why are they fighting each other? To me, the answer sounded like a sweet-sounding but empty lie because it never addressed the point of the question. What are the Volm claiming is the connection between themselves and the Espheni? Was the Volm homeworld and every planet they tried to settle after that all attacked?

Did anyone get something more out of Cochise's answer in that scene than I did?
