They don't just show up and do a bunch of action to please people that think a bunch of action is cool.

When I want to see nudity, I just watch pron. I agree that the sex in GoT seems contrived at some points, but overall the level of explicitness of the show's sex is on par or even a little below the book's level. So the show makers are just staying with the tone of the source material.

Gonna have to agree there, pretty shitty show about shitty people doing shitty things, except for a few, and of course those few die because of the shitty people and their shitty doings.
