I always had the feeling that some people don't even know this place exists. I don't know if things have changed much in GC regarding this but at least a few years back there was a thread about a movie or a tv show almost everyday. If the guys that made those threads, made them here instead of GC this sf probabaly wouldn't be so slow. I can't say I dislike the way this sf is right now though.
Seems though that people just want to hear the newest blockbusters or else gratified by recommendations of The Prestige, Shutter Island, Shawshank Redemption and then they are on the way.
