beastmaster or clash of the titans was prolly my favorite 80's movie in the 80's lot harder now to choose 1.

I started to get really into world cinema after watching Santa Sangre so choosing that.

Whenever I think about the 80's movies I think about movies for all ages that have become cult classics (Goonies, Indiana Jones Trilogy, Back To The Future Trilogy, Romancing The Stone, Jewel Of The Nile, E.T., etc). Also had other easygoing cult movies like Highlander, Lethal Weapon or Die Hard, but these didn't have such a wide target audience; and some now classics like Fullmetal Jacket, Scarface or The Untouchables (and many more).

If I had to choose one I think I might say Empire Of The Sun though; doesn't get the love it deserves and imo it's probabaly Spielberg's best film.
