meh, wasnt a fan of the yoda fights at all, looked gimmicky, to much hopping around. Id rather stick with full sized people fighting.

indeed, much like many franchises that went CGI, very rarely is it done well enough to be liked better then non CGI. Take the prequels or 2fast2furious for example. The fights between obi wan/ qui gon jin and darth maul were 10x better then the yoda and count dooku, just like the race's that weren't CGI were 10x better then the dumbass CGI races.

CGI sucks balls when done sloppy, and its very rarely done well. stick to well choreographed fights, and leave it at that.

Then again, im not worried, Disney has their shit together, Avengers was fucking awesome, and they'll make Star wars fucking awesome as well. Honestly not even slightly worried, i just want this to happen asap at this point.

I meant all the previous ones. I like them.

That and actors just straight up can't act in front of a green screen.

They said main series and a spinoff, alternating every year starting in 2015 swith Star Wars 7.

It's actually a good move. They want to make the sequel series and two years is plenty of time to do a movie with the resources they have now, but the year in between they have a new project that explores another story that they want to tell but it wouldn't work as a true trilogy. Think the KOTOR games, a movie focusing on a Sith lord instead of a Jedi (A book based on the Darth Bane trilogy) and maybe even the Thrawn trilogy, which was the rumoured second set of movies before they annouced it was the prequels.

I would love some KOTOR in there. Maybe some Darth Revan , I also want to see a Darth Sion. That guy looks even more badass than darth maul.
