Hello there, fellow same-join-dater.

the books are good, but they totally ruined the show for me. i would rather not read the books and enjoy the show. theres plenty of great books out there and not that many great shows

thats just terrible, the pilot ep is clearly not going to be the best. Watch and get into it, def worth it

Books are amazing. I can honestly say that at page 85 booK1. I knew I was hooked. im into booK2 now, and I got the first 4 here with me..ill get book 5 when I have the chance too.

books are great(if you like books), i got mine on thepirat- oops amazon, read them on my phone in class to avoid learning anything relevant to the real world.

Do it - start from book 1 though if youve got time on your hands, there are some slight differences with chars/charnames which may confuse you in you start at book 3

Library for the win? Totally worth the read, GoT is top 3 Fantasy series of all time IMO.
