First season was great. Quality really tanked when the writer's strike hit, so stop at the previous season.

Game of Thrones - Bland fantasy soap opera with high budget
True Blood - Atleast two first seasons are worth checking out, not without caution though.

GoT is awesome
True Blood is ok, the first seasons are good, then it kinda goes a bit downhill; I watched it because it aired whenI needed to kill time and it was good piece of entertainment; I eventually dropped it when I stopped needing to kill time while it aired

The rest I've never seen... except a little bit of Desperate Housewives and it really bored me; it might have just been the bits of the 2-3 episodes I watched, but it was much like sex in the city, I'm not into those kind of series.

doctor who, got, torchwood, and true blood are all good shows
torchwood is a spinoff of doctor who so make sure to watch doctor who first.

Desperate Housewives - Kind of lame, not really my cup of tea.

Doctor Who - I hear a lot of good things about it but I have not watched it.

Game of Thrones - Really great show. Books are good also.

Sanctuary -Have never watched it.

Torchwood - Have never watched it.

Shameless -It's decent. Although nothing too special.

True Blood - It's okay. Something to pass the time with. Although it's kind of stupid to be honest.

what you guys think of supernatural also? I kinda like the show when I see it by accident on TV, I'm not looking for a supa supa smart show, I must admit I can appreciate a buffy vs the vampyre from time to time and loved it when I was younger.
