Let's be honest, aside from the fact that every serial killer in the world apparently flocks to Miami to put themselves on Dexter's table, the show during the first few season seemed somewhat plausible.
You can plainly see that during the last few season, "his work" has gotten very sloppy. It hit home for me during the last episode of last season when he is on the boat with the migrants and the guy tries to rob them. So, Dexter spears him a tosses him overboard and casually says, "you're safe now". Like wtf?
I just brushed it off as bad writing until I saw Sundays episode. Guy kills a "sub character" on the show that I have had little to now relationship with, let me put myself in a very stupid position of killing his assailant in a crowded Miami International Airport. When, not but the day before, my sister just found out I'm a serial killer. BRILLIANT FUCKING WRITING.
Please take any writing coarse in college and ask yourself if those script writers didn't deserve an "F" on that one...
