He isn't all 'darkside' though. It is an act, he is still a pussy he is just pretending to be tough, every second scene is him off trying to be good again.
In the flashback it was Katherine who walked in just as Klaus and whatsherface left, so Katherine knows the hunter probably and is keeping that secret to herself, or maybe it was a 3rd doppleganger who is actually Klauses mum or something lol wouldn't surprise me. I reckon the hunter is probably some family relation to Klaus, his sister mentioned his name was Charles or Christopher or something I think?
Bit dumb how that witch died, Stefan couldn't sneak attack her but somehow Katherine completely got her off gaurd, so much for a power witch, couldn't even make a shield spell or something to help her while she did other things.
I don't think Carolines Dad is the hunter, Damon almost raped him so easily. But he is probably something more than just human or has some bigger part.
