A little correction: T was not inherently "quick to make decisions", i meant he was a quick decision maker if the situation called for it. Hence his mercury libra placement.

I'll get back on track. When tony grilled chris about his drug use in the hospital, chris strongly rebucked when t expressed concern about him flipping over a nickle bag of white powder. I personally do not think chris would ever flip - but there was another strange happening. When Harris talked to chris in s6 after t had been shot, he said he was sorry to hear about tony. Chris said "yeah well i got nothin to say about that". Harris then said "It's not why i asked. How's he doing"? Chris then said in the same breath; "He's f'd up." ^^ This to me, shows he has SOME hang or inclination towards being manipulated by the fbi. Though harris was very intelligent, i don't know if he would ever be able to get anything worthwhile out of chris, even with his drug use.

I don't think tony would have anything to worry about. Chris truly was loyal. But the drug use ultimately threatened tony's life with the car accident. It was a very fine balance point. T could quite easily have handled it under the table, i.e. off-licence hospital and such. But who knows what could happen next. And after promising t no more drugs - that promise was broken "I'll never pass the drug test".

Chris's star was rising with the movie thing, he was due to make a lot of money from it, maybe even surpassing tony within a short time frame. How would that have played out? ^^ tens of millions of dollars, tony supposedly had about 5 million and almost went bankrupt gambling. If T had seen chris's success as part of the family's business, it would be no problem. But he could not see that. And that movie thing as well ^^ Lol. Revenge fantasy, and that much was true as well ^^ Carm (Cancer, water energy) analyzed that one correctly.

It's one of the most complex situations in the show, considering they had been associates almost since the first scene in the first season. One can think that is why the show is brilliant, it makes you feel sorry for every villain, and want them to survive. Yet we forget all the bad things they do. So that one i am on board with.

If if's and but's were candies and nuts we'd all have a merry christmas ^^ We want them to live and the show to go on. But one can only threaten the life of a boss so many times until it's good night. Even if it is the most loyal henchman. Only his true family members T would have saved in that situation.
