Lucky France gets a release date on 12/15.

We have to wait till the 22nd of December, but better that than Lithuania's release date, which is on Christmas Eve.

I find it odd that no title has been settled despite the fact that we've passed the original release date



Meanwhile, John Wick 4 has also been through shifting schedules, currently scheduled to release in May 2022. From the JW4 wiki:



Chad Stahelski, director of all 4 Wick movies, is also listed as the stunt coordinator in the first three Matrix movies. And he said he's working on the 4th.

I really think that all this points to the fact that Matrix4 and JohnWick4 are largely going to be the same movie. 70% of the movies will be same footage, with the Matrix having some "Matrix world scenes" as a backdrop to explain the plot. This is why they are being coy about a title for Matrix, they don't want to give it away. But the original plan was for audiences to be exposed to both films at the same time.

Interesting. I did not know about that original intent.

What are the odds that the two plots cross over? Now THAT would be mind blown.

It’s going to be horrible

This is a stupid move. Just create something original instead of banking on a classic.

I feel that Disney has pretty much killed Star Wars by continuing to add more new stories to the original trilogy. Now I’m sick of it. I want to see something original and refreshing, thank you very much.

Home Alone was a huge hit so they made a second. Years later, they wanted a third but of course the kid was too old by then. So they had a different kid. The movie was shit. Should have never made it in the first place.

Karate Kid? Same thing. Dumb... just leave the classics alone.

The first matrix was great, second and third... at least one wont get disappointed from expectations on a fourth - unless they manage to do a f9 kind of dumpster flick. But that would almost be a success in itself. if maybe every movie scene the lines are just HUUrrr dUUURRR, huUURR 👑😂 to make a total joke out of it.

Sure i'm gonna watch it.

JW4 too, those are good. Especially the first (one of the best action movies i know) but the other two really good action too. Would be sweet if they manage to outdo the second & third in both series.

Question is how horrible it's gonna be

I recently re-watched the trilogy. And was very surprised on how much I enjoyed the second installment. I always remember it being ‘just meh’ but I actually really liked it. Obviously not as good as 1, but not to shabby.

But 3 was just dookie

I think the first one just set the bar too high for the sequels to follow. The second one wasn't all too bad.
