Except that it's bound to make squillions for them children who hear about how good Deadpool 1&2 is off their older siblings but Mummy and Daddy won't allow them to see it because too young.

I didn't realize that something being profitable now determined whether or not it was pointless... Transformer movies have almost all been insanely profitable and other than the first one being tolerable, the rest of have been unbearably bad and pointless. This will probably at least be entertaining because Deadpool 2 was fairly entertaining, but it's a pointless cash grab that consumers should avoid, but they won't.
