As if TBBT wasn't bad enough.... God, these networks are fucking ridiculous.

The good news is chat neither narrating nor Executive producing take much time. Narration is just a few lines here and there, producers mainly find money and do marketing. I think I remember reading somewhere that adding executive basically made you a figurehead.

Are you guys actually excited for this? Not trying to bash anyone, I'm just legitimately confused because I thought something that looks this horrible (to me, I know now that this isn't a popular opinion) would be met with only negativity. TBBT is pretty awful and it has only gotten worse. Spinoffs are ALWAYS 10x worse than the original, especially when it's coming from a major network.

I watched like 7 or 8 seasons because the wife loved it. She acknowledged in the second season that it was terrible, but that she just liked it and I'll watch whatever she likes so she's obligated to watch one of my shows later. Eventually, it got so bad that even she couldn't tolerate it anymore and I thankfully haven't watched an episode in years.

It wasn't the worst show I've been forced to watch since being with my wife, but it was certainly one of the dumbest ones.

how about this? you don't like it, it's up to you, and if I like it, it's up to me, fair enough to you? even if it's dumb, but if I like dumb things, problem for you? so sue me...

I am okay with this series existing, but I really hope it's a short series, 3 seasons at the most.
