The problem with the X-men universe is that Eric is right and Charles is wrong. There can not be peace with humans. It irks me that Xavier is painted as the "good guy".

Eric is right in probability and Charles is right in morality.

I kind of agree, but there are some problems here. The logical step would be to turn everyone into mutants, but in a mutant world there would surely be even greater inequalities and battles between classes because, going Orwell on this one, some mutants are more mutant than others. Some mutants have the power to control others, some have the power to destroy their surroundings with ease, some can shapeshift or escape the law.... and some others have some really shitty/useless powers or simply just look different to normal humans (like this guy: http://xmenipedia.wikia.com/wiki/Longneck ). A peaceful world would be completely impossible.

In this sense, both Charles and Eric are wrong, and sadly the only ones right are the nazi-like humans that want to kill or "cure" all mutants.

Why is Mystique not listed?
