All my friends been saying that it gets very good from season 5 so i kinda got sick of hearing it and forced my self to watch it from season 4 (where i left it some years ago)

i think im into ep 8 or something and FINALLY they all left that stupid prison, annoying governor is finally dead for good and all the rest of that boring group is separated from each other.

It has been pretty painful experience watching Walking Dead past season 1, hopefully i can enjoy it again

Imo season 4 is where it gets good. Since season 1 my favourite character was Daryl cos he was the only one who seemed to have any sense...Rick in season 5 makes Daryl look like a 14 year old girl

Even though I'm a TWD fan, I admit that there chunks of the show that are painful to get through. I gave up a couple times but picked it back up later when the hype got to me. But I promise you it's worth it to watch it all.

I'm assuming you are one of the people who watch it solely for gore and violence.

If so you won't appreciate all the finer details. It isn't the best show or even top 5. It is a pretty solid show though. I rewatched the seasons on Netflix and it was pretty neat. When you do it that way it makes it easier to see the character development which imo makes it into something more than a zombie show. It is more about the people than the zombies.

And you hated the Governor? Him and Merle made season 3.

My favorite episode is probably the final episode of the flu epidemic. The performance of Hershel made it damn near perfect. The midseason finale was also pretty good.

Haven't watched season 6.

no i am complete opposite way around actually. Good story line, writing, dialogue and acting is what i am after.

I hated that he was back in s4, good job only for a few eps and they were pretty good actually.

Got 2 more eps in s4 left. Some very good scenes in this season, when they meet that scientist who said he knows how its all started my dick got hard but when he said its classified it got insta soft... i like where its going so far. Still some eps total borefest and just feels like show repeating it self. But lets see what s5 brings, apparently that where its all at.

I need to try and catch up at some point. I loved the first 3 seasons, got so fucking bored in season 4 and turned it off and never turned it back on. I've heard it's gotten a lot better, it's just going to be hard to force myself to finish that season.

I am into season 5 ep 3 and im still not impressed. Most of the decisions that WD characters make just make no fucking sense what so ever. Loads of other shit just makes no sense in this show. I am more interested on whats happening with the virus and the rest of the wold but thats just dragging out for way too long...

Season 1 was good, should have ended with them all dying at the CDC like originally planned. Season 5 was pretty good as well. I personally enjoyed season 2, seeing them try to rebuild although most people hated it. 3 and 4 were...ehh.. the governors back story episode(s?) probably the only good part for me.

I'm enjoying fear the walking dead a lot more. The characters actually seem real and likable, unlike the pure trope characters that fill up TWD to the breaking point.
