"I think season three, I believe we're targeting around the end of this year," said Harmon. "But, you guys realize that we're at the beginning of this year."

It just goes to show that you should never trust a Poopybutthole.

While the prospect of waiting another 9 or so months to find out how season two's cliffhanger of a finale will resolve itself feels borderline cruel, it's at least an improvement from the 18 month hellscape of loneliness we thought we were in for. (Rick and Morty is our shepherd; we shall not want.)

Rick and Morty At end of the year! Instead of a year and a half!

what? A normal show makes its debut around the same time each year (let's call that a typical "1 year between seasons").R&M S2 debuted July 2015. S3 debuting at the end of this year, roughly Dec 2016, would be a year and a half.

Also, why the fuck does this show not have a bigger budget pushing out more content? In fact, screw Cartoon Network, there should be Congressional legislation to subsidize Harmon and Roiland indefinitely, ensuring the optimal conditions for their creative work to flourish.

No release date still. We can just hope for November or December rather than next July like we thought it was going to be.

Still watching old episodes because they are so hilarious - was watching season 1 and the episode where rick gives the family the box that will produce one Mesees, accomplish a simple task and then disappear because 1. they have completed their task and 2. They hate existence.

What a way to totally make fun of the Me Me Me people - so awesome.

it so hilarious - half the jokes you miss the first time you watch it because you're on the floor already.

Its pretty funny because Rick insults everyone and everything, he holds nothing back.

Like the episode where he mathematical proved morty and his sister were just a POS, omfg!

Oh God yes. Easily the best animated show ever created.

I've watched all of season 1+2 at least 5 times and I still when bored throw it on for background noise. It calms me. I can not stress enough how much I love this show.
