P.S. - Anyone who is a fan of this guy's writing should check out his book 'Galveston'. It got picked up for a movie. This guy is 2 for 2 in his entire career. Very creative and talented. I see a bright future for this guy.

I just hope that the first season being so fucking good does not hurt season 2 by association.

If you go in expecting something better than a perfect season, you are only setting yourself up for disappointment.

S1 was eight perfectly crafted episodes, telling a story in an amazing way across the span of 17 years.

Do I expect S2 to top that? No. But, if anyone can do it, it's going to be Nic Pizzolatto.

I have the sneaking suspicion we are all going to be in quite the surprise.

Have you read the book? I think I remember you mentioning it in the season 1 thread, if it'll give me the same chilling vibes season 1 did then I will definitely have to read it!

Yes, I've read it twice now, once in one sitting. It's incredibly well written and a overall great story. Also, some excellent quotes.
