so lets discuss nicolas cage

how many here likes him or dislikes him?

personally it's like a 50-50 for me.

he does some great performances like leaving las vegas, bringing out the dead, matchstick men, adaptation and a few more
i actually liked him in kick ass too.

then on the other hand he has done so many SHITTY movies its unbelievable.

and to top it all off

nothing special, but can occasionally be sufficientl if the movie around him is done right

Talented Actor..

Takes alot of different roles and not all of them have suited him imo


i thought he was oscar worthy in matchstick men.

Nicolas Cage tries way too hard to be a badass on screen. He's much better as sophisticated or neurotic characters. Examples of where he really shines includes Matchstick Men, Lord of War, and The Family Man.

not a bad actor but accepts way too much shitty projects/roll offers

has some very good movies ( 8mm, Lord of war, The Weather Man)

Forgot to mention his best role - in Rumble Fish

3 or 4 great roles

but 5000 crappy ones

He's a great actor, but damn he takes a lot of shitty roles.

Like it was said earlier, he does crazy well.
