Aj knew who Jason was and just wanted to bring it up to his face cause he think its jason,s father fault for their parents divorce right?

AJ didn't have a clue who he was... Cooper's character clearly never wanted to bring it up. And how would he know? Do, you honestly think he kept Luke's last name? Not a chance.

Why would AJ even change HS in senior year when he live 15 miles from there
I mean.. Im aware he started talking to Jason figured itd be the easy way to get drugs but why would they get randomly busted with the drugs

You can clearly see he's still in touch with people from his former highschool when jason gets at AJ's party

AJ changes to that high school before he even meets Jason...

He could of known he was attending this high school, I mean... look at how different they are socially, AJ has no other purpose to be around this kid aside from either knowing who he is or drugs

AJ is clearly manipulative, you can tell right when he tells the couselor at school that it was his dad's idea to move

AJ wants to live with his dad. So, he has to go to a new school. AJ doesn't know Jason. He sees him sitting alone at lunch, and looks like they might have something in common. So, he strikes up a conversation. Period.

AJ didn't know Jason before moving. He didn't know what he looked like or who he was. From the relationship between AJ and his Father, it's clear that they don't often talk. Let alone about that case of Luke's death. I don't really know how else to put that for you.
