I just went and watched this and I was actually really impressed

it was far better than any of the other x-men movies, and good by any standard imo, I'd recommend watching it

ya i thought it was pretty good as well, i still like x2 the best

Why is the movie getting so much praise? Literally everyone on this board seems to love it and last I checked it had an 8.7/10 on IMDB (down from 8.8) which is ridiculously high for that list as The Dark Knight has 9.0 and is #5.


Not exactly hating, I did enjoy it but I thought it was way too long and not enough happening. relatively empty plot and surprisingly little action for a super hero / comic book movie adaption.


First class was better IMO, I'd give it an 8 and this one a 6 or 7.

Certainly better than the rest of the X-men movies for sure (the first trilogy was pretty sub-par, ESPECIALLY the third one)

it's getting so much praise because it was a good movie.. I didn't think it was that long and the plot wasn't empty at all.. they focused more on that than just mindless action

mindless action is kind of the reason why you watch a movie like X-men. I loved the scenes with that really quick dude though, he was awesome.

/E: I feel the same way about the amazing spider man 2. I thought it was pretty bad, worst spiderman movie ever (second movie I've ever fallen asleep to in a cinema, the first being fast & furious 6) yet people actually think it was good.

amazing spider man 2 was great and Days of future past is my all time favorite marvel movie to date.

Man they really made the sentinels beast

it was completely awesome, they nailed it in every way

If you go in the cinema and watch it in brainmode OFF, yea it's an excellent movie, but I could name 10 things easily that they completely failed, especially about the timeline that they once again have not respect for.
