Movie looks good, but they just mesed up the transformer serie by changing too many things...

woah no more annoying kid actor and megan fox ... looks more serious, i may actually watch this one

So it's still Michael Bay and it's still the same writer that hasn't had a single good movie since Arlington Road (His only good movie) back in 99 lol. How does anyone have even slightly positive expectations for this?

I seriously want to understand the thought process behind finding these movies acceptable.

So because you personally aren't interested in the movie that means anyone who is must be foolish or incompetent when it comes to movies or perhaps even Transformers plot history? Why can't people just be wanting a good action movie to watch? I don't understand people who go to a movie like this and expect a thought invoking 2 1/2 hour movie that makes you guess and choose after every other scene. That would be like going to watch "Her" and leaving disappointed because there weren't enough gun fights and police chases.

I'm sorry for hoping that an action movie could be decent. I didn't realize it was impossible to make a movie with action and a decent plot, I'll refrain from hoping for decent movies. My bad bro.

Transformers is from a comic series originally, and from the cartoon series around late 70s - 80s... what are you really expecting?
It does NOT need to have a real storyline... it is just a cartoon made into a movie.

It has a storyline... it has been the same for over 34 years... Living Robots in constant War has lost their planet and any remaining will continue to fight and kill one another.

That is it... that is the storyline... it has a little bit of ethics, beliefs and some form of righteousness in it... also including the evil.

EDIT: well... humans are stupid in this movie also... typical.
