Just finished airing. I would definitely call it good. It's slow enough that it will definitely take 5+ episodes for us to really get where things are going, but I wouldn't call that a bad thing.

It definitely feels like it wants us to think that Mcconaughey is the killer so he better not end up being it.

First episode has me impressed. Its not your typical detective show and the two leads did a great job as expected.

It reminds me of the killing, but since it's HBO, they'll be able to explore more violence and depravity. Can't wait. Just looked it up and it's done by Nic Pizzolatto, who did the killing so it makes sense.

Show's pilot is one of the best I've watched in a while. If it keeps up this type of suspense and overall just great acting/plot, it might be one of the best shows of 2014.
