The Wire and The Sopranos are two shows that are constantly competing in the eyes of top critics for best dramas of all time. And for good reason.

I personally prefer The Wire, but I think they're both amazing shows, phenomenally written. I think you should watch both, but if I had to suggest one, it would be The Wire.

Boardwalk Empire
Hannibal (new and looks promising)
The Americans (same as Hannibal)
