What the actual fuck is wrong with the people who come up with this.. Do Americans actually feel this way? Would you rather hundreds of thousands even millions of people die rather than the president or is it just shit movie logic?

Why can't they just make a realistic movie where Morgan Freeman is just like "okay kill the president, we aren't going to send any more innocent people in to try and stop you so they can be murdered nor are we going to cave to your demands that could result in unimaginable loss of life" then the guy just looks at him wide eyed and is like "well fuck.. what do I do now"

Their job was to get people to watch it. You watched it, so they were successful in that case. I haven't watched it. As soon as I saw the first 2 seconds of the first trailer, I knew it was complete shit.
