Looking for a list of movies since quite a few of you are cinema enthusiasts and more knowledgeable.

I'm looking for the WW1/2 movies with a german perspective or focus, preferrably wartime or pre-war early 1930's etc, in the vein of Cross of Iron, Das Boot, All is Quiet etc.

Giving a couple fg per good film suggestion.

inb4 google, rather have people with prior viewing experience or review

Schindler's List is possibly my favorite movie all-time and is also very accurate in the portrayal of the time period.

Swastika (1973) - not a film, a documentary - watched it with my grandfather (who has a huge collection of ww2 docus on vhs/dvd) over Christmas time. It was very different, it doesn't depict nazis as being evil etc but rather focuses on hitler as a human, his personality and traits..
