the fluid-like properties that the zombies somehow obtained. In most adaptations of a zombie movie, the zombies perform at human capacity or below, except maybe the genetically modified ones like Nemesis in the resident evil series. But still, I am supposed to believe that by just running in an uncoordinated way, a hoard of zombies could topple a bus, or form a zombie pyramid 10 stories high? Nope.
The entire point of the zombies from the book is that they're a slow unstoppable horde. The only real power they have is overwhelming numbers. You can jog away from a zombie but you can only job for so long when there are literally nothing but zombies for hundreds of miles. But in the movie, they're fast and supposed to move "like a swarm of bees or flock of birds"(paraphrasing Brad Pitt from an interview). From different quotes from Brad, it's apparent the move and book basically only share a name and the real meat that made the book so popular is almost entirely gone. Not saying the movie is going to be bad, just that it has almost nothing in common with the award winning book.
i agree
they seemed to make them "infected" (28 days later) rather than slow zombies
the book was amazing and i have a bad feeling this will fail in comparison
