Hello! I have made a friend from Finland and I would like to send them some things from the U.S. that they can't get normally.

What kinds of things should I send? I planned on sending food and alcohol, but which brands? Maybe cigarettes, too?

i dont think theres anything special u could send that we dont have already

just ask ur friend if he likes any specific brand of candy or something like that and send bunch of those

we already have swe, pol, fin and rus vodka.
there is no drink that gets over those. and all best brands from USA do exsist in our stores.
food will go bad during flight and it is not legal to send food here, if i remember correct.

Not sure what kind of alcohol you've got there but we've got just few of your most known brands here, get some interesting and maybe local stuff?
I guess you have plenty of high quality tobacco so if he's a smoker getting some different stuff is a safe bet.

Yeah, they said they have Jack Daniels, Lucky Strike for cigs, etc. I will probably just send over some local stuff. I don't want to send anything too expensive though because they will have to pay to receive the package if the value is too high, right? I tried doing some research and I think most sites were saying anything over £15 is taxed, and the package recipient has to pay.

The food I planned to send would be stuff that wouldn't go bad, like candy and coffee. Any brands of these that would be worth sending? Yeah, I might just ask. I sent a few boxes of Lucky Charms to a friend in Ennis, Ireland because she has them there, but they are verrrry expensive.
