i agree. but we had too an inexperienced yonug team.
i have allways said that we need to dump all old players and take young hungry playrs, and see what happend. i hope we meet at finals again in next year. ;)

In a wc final and a team loses the will to fight? Must be a REALLY bad team. sweden just didn't have the heart and skill to see it through
That wc 2003 thing. Finland was just so bad they stopped playing completely. any team could come back then.

Well, we got to the finals after all and we played on pretty equal levels in both the first and second period so no, I wouldn't say that our team was bad at all. Just lacking routine and confidence.

In 2003, we just kept pushing to make just one goal in the second period. And when we did, it went easier and easier to make another.
It's the same as when in a running competition, it a pain in the ass being in lead and starting to realize that someone is catching up to you. The hunter definitely has the upper hand over the hunted.

Then again, it couldn't have happened this time when our guys didn't that much self confidence and gave up when things went straight uphill for them. It shouldn't be over til' the fat lady sings, right?
So I guess if we would have gotten a goal when it was still 1-4 or something, the game could have ended a lot differently :)

Anyway, congratz on the championship! We both have pretty young teams so it'll be interesting to see what happens in a few years!

its a fact, we played with allmost half team of junior wc players.

Fact is aswell that Wc aint a high ranked tour.,comeback when u won the olympics or the tour which was named "canada cup" before cant remember the new name atm
