What about the NHL? You can be a good player without making many goals.. You should look KHL wich is in few years bigger than NHL

why? we saw what happened at the olympics. anyway finland has better nhl roster. swedes don't have a lot of players who perform well in serious games. like the sedins. they suck

Not trying to excuse our crushing defeat, but when things are going bad it really shows when there are young and inexperienced guys playing.
The team just fell apart after that third/fourth goal and that definitely wouldn't have happened with a team with a little more routine.
Just look at the WC final 2003 where we turned 1-5 into a win. That couldn't have happened with the players we have today. Definitely not.

The Swedish team is dependent on being faster and more creative than our opponents. We can't make physical contact at all, which is why we are having trouble facing Russia and Canada.
Then in the third period when you guys had a momentum and a bit of luck, we lost our will to fight, and had nothing left to do but see ourselves get smacked to the ground.
